Here's a few pictures from my recent trip to Toronto last weekend! My friend and I couch surfed for the first time and met a lot of awesome Torontonians who took us around the city. I was so inspired by the artsy presence all around town, especially their logos and typography (which I'll add more pictures of later). First we hit up the AGO museum to see the Picasso exhibit which was incredible. Then the next few days we explored the city by foot, tried the Canadian speciality poutine (fries covered with gravy & cheese curds), and enjoyed the hospitality of our host family.
One of the only city shots I took
Picasso finger puppets
Exhibit by Iain Baxter& (he added the ampersand)
Iain again
Our host's backyard patio covered in grape vines
Homemade brunch
Their dogs, Sergeant and Fred
Smokie's Poutinerie (the best place in town for Poutine)
Poutine with mushrooms and beef- I sware it tastes much better than it looks
Lakeview Restaurant- amazing brunch
Obsessed with their logo
... and their $3 Mimosas
Cute post - this makes me miss Toronto. I can't wait for the next time I get to go to the AGO, I haven't been these since December :P Darling little blog you have here.
