Currently obsessing over the classiness of the black and white combo.

Even the shoes are working both

I love the belt skirt combo and I die for these shoes

Can't wait to try the look out.

Tangerine Touches

Dominican Flashback

This past spring break I went to Punta Cana and stayed at the Barcelo Premium Resort. It was ridiculously beautiful and perfect weather every day. I took a few pictures on my iPod touch and never uploaded them. So here they are:

Hello Blog world! I'm beyond excited to finally start my own blog. I've been meaning to do it for so long but I couldn't find the perfect name. But today changed that.


The name "Tannegerine" came to me listening to Shwayze's "Don't Be Shy" as he sang:

Sweet little nectarine 

Sit down next to me  

Take a load off, Annie 

I think you're beautiful

So nectarine got me thinking tangerine, and I loved the idea of using my name (Anne) in the word Tangerine. And as far as colors go, I am falling madly in love with the color orange plus I have a slight obsession with staying tan. And so the perfect name was born.


As for today, my day was wonderful. I ate breakfast at my friend Katie's house and played with her dogs, Winnie & Sophie.

So cute.

Then I kayaked with my friend Jess on her lake for 2 hours. Such a great shoulder workout! 

Prime tanning today

Of course I said hi to her dog, Jenny:

In light of anti-aging talk and 2 hours of kayaking in prime sun time, I had to stop by Ulta and pick up this SPF moisturizer:

Yes to Blueberries SPF 30 Moisturizer $20

It took me a while to choose, but I wanted to have a good moisturizer that protects my skin from the sun and smells good.   This was one of the only ones at Ulta that fit both, while being a reasonable price. I can't wait to use it. I don't think it's ever too early to protect your skin from wrinkles, and so skincare is my new religion as far as I'm concerned.
